I took over this package, updated it to 1.21.6 and merged the server manager functionality. Systemd service file is included and a small helper script to pass commands and access the console. https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Guide:Dedicated_Server#Dedicated_server_on_Linux
vsserverd passes commands to server.sh and adds a console option to access it.
The server data is in /var/vintagestory-server and is owned by the user vintagestory
