@MrAureliusR: Looks like they reverted the version upstream and released a new snapshot. Let me know if it works for you; launched with an empty screen for me (openjdk 21)

It seems the violetumleditor-3.0.0.deb file is not available on Sourceforge anymore -- it's showing the latest version as 2.2 from what I can tell. Thus the package is failing to build.

@twa nevermind installing jdk for java 8 fixed it. Strange that it was working before. Maybe an update uninstalled some java packages due to conflicts
