There is no version dependency on this package on purpose! You could read comments back from 2011 to understand why.

Gives error:

(1/1) upgrading virtualbox-ext-oracle [-----------------------------------] 100% 0%... Believe it is since Arch has not upgraded to 6.0 yet.

Provided URL isn't working. This > URL is correct. Check for this.

@ Flubbadub, thanks for the info re checksum, that worked for me

infomaniac50 commented on 2018-04-30 23:45

It seems only the Windows host matches the current Sources. Everything else is on 5.2.10_122088.

For anyone else with the checksum issue the correct one is 5eef217dbe0a8e8caf383ea8db83344517af0f9093041b5345c8468a427b327b

You can see from that there are 2 versions of the extension pack & the one with the lower number has the old hash, while the one which is currently being served on the URL for the PKGBUILD is a newer one (bugfix I guess).

Got checksum failed

Version 5.2.5 seems to be deleted from the HTTP server. Latest is 5.2.6:

WFV commented on 2018-01-16 19:31

had to edit the PKGBUILD $pkgver to install, then it works. EDIT: 5.2.6 is up there now, thanks seblu.
