There is no version dependency on this package on purpose! You could read comments back from 2011 to understand why.

I'm getting this error when I makepkg.

I am receiving the same error as @mocambo.

The package installs, but I have to disable USB support before I can boot my VM.

I tried what @Noeljunior suggested, but it did not make a difference

I have reverted to 6.0.14 until this can be resolved.

FWIW this package builds perfectly for me now. Perhaps the certificate was fixed? In any case, IMO the out-of-date flag can be removed.

Guys, URL stays download.virtualbox.org, as I saw it on virtualbox.org. Where did you get changes to download.oracle.com?

I had to change the source URL to:

https://download.oracle.com/virtualbox/$pkgver/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-$pkgver.vbox-extpack

to solve this issue:
