what 'ARCH' packages do you mean?
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.2.0/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.2.0-80737.vbox-extpack and virtualbox-bin are version 4.2

build works, but can't install the package:

The build version changed.
There are a symlink on the download page, so you don't need to specify the build version on the pkgbuild.

There is no version dependency on this package on purpose! You could read comments back from 2011 to understand why.
