For the people not willing to download 500MB of chromium source to build this package: You can install it from my repo: https://repo.herecura.eu Note: When the version here in AUR updates you should keep in mind it can take up to 30 minutes until its available in my repo. If you are using an AUR helper you must make sure you have enough space where the helper wants to build. If your helper uses /tmp or something you are very likely to run out of "diskspace" while building this package.

@BlacklkeEagle, this package does not work unless you symlink libffmpeg.so.5.4 to libffmpeg.so in /opt/vivaldi-snapshot

With Vivaldi 1.14.1072.3 it does not work anymore: No suitable library for HTML5 MP4 (H.264/AAC) video and MP3 audio was found, therefore only open codecs will play.

According to the UA they use chromium 64 now, so this needs probably an update to the same chromium version.

¿BlackIkeEagle, por qué restringes i686 en el PKGBUILD si estos codecs funcionan perfecto en Chromium 32bit? Agrega i686.

As per my comment of 2017-01-16, any chance of adding to PKGBUILD: provides=('vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs' 'vivaldi-snapshot-ffmpeg-codecs') ?

As the vivaldi-widevine package has the dependency: depends=('vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs') Would it be possible for this package to state: provides=('vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs' 'vivaldi-snapshot-ffmpeg-codecs') ? Currently, if you're using vivaldi-snapshot and vivaldi-snapshot-ffmpeg-codecs already, installing vivaldi-widevine will force the install of vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs as well. Many thanks for your work on Vivaldi and hosting your incredibly useful repository.

@BlackIkeEagle I did not know that. Thanks for the tip! And thanks for your great work keeping Vivaldi, and this package updated in AUR!
