With regular libplacebo placebo, opengl and opengl es renderers are shown in video renderer settings but with libplacebo-git they can't be selected in video renderer settings.

@Moebius14 Nvidia RTX VSR is currently only supported by VLC on Windows D3D11 output. The required code is only available in vlc/modules/video_output/win32/d3d11_scaler.cpp and has not been ported to any Linux output method.

Updated the package to remove the taglib v2 patch as commit ec29dfca fixes the issue.

patching file modules/meta_engine/taglib.cpp Hunk #1 FAILED at 227. Hunk #2 FAILED at 1392. 2 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file modules/meta_engine/taglib.cpp.rej. Apparently this merge request https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/merge_requests/4877 is at fault.

Does it have the new Nvidia RTX VSR feature (that's available in windows builds)?

On the official vlc website all they wrote is "Ask your favorite packager for VLC 3.0!" ...

Just added a patch for taglib v2 compatibility. So it's no longer required to install taglib1.

The latest version of taglib cause the build issue, and version 1.x has been moved to taglib1 package

Regarding outdated flag, it's because https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/merge_requests/4765 has been merged. Now CXXFLAGS should be set to " -std=c++17", because otherwise it won't build.

@himurae Thanks for letting me know. The issue was due to the no longer required patch for libplacebo and is now fixed.
