maybe add mathjax2,graphviz,plantuml to optional dependencies?

Now it compiles OK. Thanks.

Two submodules are not syncing: hunspell and sonnet. After adding them sonnet seems to have broken configuration with macro: SONNETCORE_EXPORT in one of the headers. It's strange because both of the aforementioned libraries are available from repositories, no need to compile them.

@iosmanthus could you try with the https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vnote/ package instead as this is a development package so it can be unstable and not work optimally. For example Read Mode does not work at the moment https://github.com/tamlok/vnote/issues/258

As for the AppImage I am not a fan of packeging app images for the time being, I may make a vnote-appimage package if I get around to it.

Edit: Scratch that I saw you made the issue, I'll look into it.

Why not just pack up the AppImage in GitHub Release. Compile seems time-consuming. And When I compiled and installed it, I found I can't enter Read Mode while it can be done in the AppImage downloaded from GitHub Release.

Great, thank you!

Could you, please, provide non-git package too? The software is under active development and often manually update is not convenient.
