Could’nt build the update
Get this error:

This package is compatible with Qt 5.9, but has issues with later versions. For example, when compiling with Qt 5.13.1, a sorting feature for the notes in the sidebar is broken. (That may not be the only issue, it's just the only one I noticed so far.) I corresponded with the developer on this, who recommended compiling using Qt 5.9 (which I was told was the LTS version). This is a problem because Qt 5.13.1 is in the repositories. I'm not sure how this would be dealt with. I yield to your expertise on the matter.

Here's the issue I opened on github: https://github.com/tamlok/vnote/issues/1015 We found a fix for it, but it requires downloading Qt 5.9 separately, then changing the Build file to point to it when installing the vnote package. It's not ideal, but the sorting feature now seems to work. (Detailed directions on the thread at github.)
