This package should be renamed to vulkan-caps-viewer-bin and a seperate package should be created with the same name that builds it from source, here: https://github.com/SaschaWillems/VulkanCapsViewer
According the the Arch User Repository rules: "Submitting binaries should be avoided if the sources are available. The AUR should not contain the binary tarball created by makepkg, nor should it contain the filelist."

Thanks, it works. I also don't use desktop environment, I use i3 + dmenu.

@lfairy: Thanks. I knew it was built on Qt and somehow still forgot to add it to the deps. Fixed!

Let me know if it doesn't work, as I can't test it myself (I don't run any desktop)

First time I ran the tool, I got this error:

vulkanCapsViewer: error while loading shared libraries: libQt5Widgets.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I fixed it by installing qt5-base.

How about adding .desktop entry in /usr/share/applications ?
