Could you please update this package...

@hexadecagram i'd loved to but i really don't have time at the moment.We'll see in the future. Also i switched to Arno-iptables. Νevertheless, i have a modified pkgbuild here https://pastebin.com/XfJNKE4b that you can use. Compile it with makepkg -si , then install syslog-ng, then enable/start syslog-ng service, then enable/start vuurmuur service and THEN configure the firewall. Also i want to inform that i have sent an email to vuurmuur-devel mailing list with your error logs (pastebin) and some other errors i fount in my logs when i tried to compile it from vuurmuur source. To ask if the problem is to outdated vuurmuur code. So we wait for an answer. With the pkgbuild i give you, i install vuurmuur with trizen in my system and with makepkg -si to an arch docker image too, with no problems.

Yes, I don't use this package or any other type of firewall. So I don't have time to test it.

@ratamahata looks like the previous maintaner abandoned this package. Would you be willing to take it over? I would do it myself but my plate is rather full for the time being.

@hexadecagram It can't be build with gcc10 so maybe the problem is somewhere in the code (hasn't been updated yet). So install gcc8 alongside with gcc10,

pacman -S gcc8 gcc8-libs
and compile it with gcc8 adding it to PKGBUILD to the build() section
build() {
           cd ${pkgname}-${pkgver}
           export CC=gcc-8 CXX=g++-8
           ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
           make
          }
I just test this way and it works fine. I compile it with trizen.

Fails to build. vuurmuur-devel also gives a similar error.

@dracorp I just installed vuurmuur using your PKGBUILD on an armv7h Globalscale Mirabox. It works beautifully. If you want to you can safely add armv7h to your list of arch's in your PKGBUILD.
