Can you add libnetfilter_log as a dependency? Otherwise the logging functionality (which is obviously important) doesn't work properly and the firewall cannot start. I guess the same dependency needs to be added to the main vuurmuur package as well. See here, http://sourceforge.net/p/vuurmuur/mailman/message/31522596/
