Yes, I see the problem. I'm gonna check how to fix this.

I have tried to make vuurmuur 0.7-5 on system on which there is no established vuurmuur. Making has come to the end successfully. On system where the package does not compiled, is installed vuurmuur 0.5.73. May be it a reason.

Well, I've tried a full reinstall without problem. Do the previous version compile on your system ? Previous version: PKGBUILD: http://aur.pastebin.com/6ge5WeJp rc.vuurmuur: http://aur.pastebin.com/AMQfvzdP

Strange, never had that problem. I'll have a look at it.

Can't compile. Last lines: ... checking for vuurmuur.h... yes checking for libvuurmuur_get_version in -lvuurmuur... no ERROR! libvuurmuur library not found, go get it from http://www.vuurmuur.org/

I don't use vuurmuur these days, so I'm happy to disown the package if you'd like to adopt it? :)

Hi, Stupid me, I've created a PKGBUILD without checking if there was one existing in AUR before. So, thanks for the PKGBUILD ;-) I have anyway find some differences I would like to share with you & few errors. 1. the below files appear twice in the 'backup' array of the PKGBUILD: 'etc/vuurmuur/textdir/rules/blocklist.conf' 'etc/vuurmuur/textdir/rules/rules.conf' 2. could you install the logrotate script that is provided with the package ? 3. the 'install.sh' script in the source tarball creates a vuurmuur_conf file which is not included in/created by the PKGBUILD. Could you install it also ? 4. I have used another way of building vuurmuur & vuurmuur_conf to avoid invalid rpath problem. Should you be interested, please find the link to my PKGBUILD below. 5. I removed also the useless doc directory as it only included explanations on how to install vuurmuur on other distros. 6. During install & config, I had no problem linked to the file traffic.log, so I've not included it in my PKGBUILD. 7. Regarding the dependencies, all the ones mentionned are in base or base-devel so I find useless to mention them in the PKGBUILD. However, the real dependencies to be mentionned are iptables (not in the PKGBUILD), iproute2 (ok), conntrack-tools (not mentionned in the PKGBUILD and not in official repo, but in aur). These are the tools checked by the 'install.sh' script. Cheers PKGBUILD: http://aur.pastebin.com/GjE8FgqB rc.vuurmur: http://aur.pastebin.com/yJFJyrVv
