It appears that there is a dependency missing in the list of dependencies:

Run-time dependency zbar found: NO (tried pkgconfig and cmake)

warp/meson.build:58:2: ERROR: Dependency "zbar" not found, tried pkgconfig and cmake

It makes sense. Unfortunately current upstream is broken ./builtin_defines.sh 'cc ' 'c++ ' >generated_defines.d.tmp /bin/sh: ./builtin_defines.sh: No such file or directory Makefile:53: recipe for target 'generated_defines.d' failed

You need to add libphobos-devel as a make dependency
