You download the latest state from a -git repository.

Then you must:

  • Rename your package to waydroid-biglinux-git (i.e. with the -git suffix),
  • add provides=("waydroid-biglinux") (or provides=("waydroid-biglinux=${pkgver}") and conflicts=("waydroid-biglinux"),
  • add git to the makedepends array,
  • add a pkgver() function that ensures a strongly monotoneously increasing package version (your current solution pkgver=$(date +%y.%m.%d) and pkgrel=$(date +%H%M) is wrong).

Also, do not tamper with $pkgrel as you have done it!, please read the Arch Wiki for what $pkgrel is for.

Regards and please fix and then thanks for maintaining!

↗ Here is some discussion about what this package is about.

Cited from there:

It seems that BigLinux is a brazilian linux distribution. 1 2
Waydroid documentation refers to this project as "Community Projects We Like" and described as

"The folks at BigLinux have some configuration tools that help run Waydroid on that platform"

@Maintainer, can you please add a more descriptive $pkgdesc, please?

Regards and thanks for maintaining!

This package depends on yad, which is missing from the dependencies list. It looks like weston is also a dependency.
