won't run from menu, won't run from command line as user, will only run as root/sudo.

I have to correct that it seems that the close button properly closes the application ;)

On Manjaro Gnome I cannot see the tray icon which means whenever I close webtorrnet from the close button it goes in the background without me realizing that so I end up openning many instances of webtorrent. Is this something anyone experiences? Cheers!

Hi Pieter,

There's a new version out, v0.19.0! Any plan to update to it? It'd be very much appreciated.

God bless you for your hard work.

Regards.

The source url for the 64bit version is wrong. The new url is https://github.com/feross/webtorrent-desktop/releases/download/v0.16.0/WebTorrent-v0.16.0-linux.zip

The launcher can be created by associating webtorrent with torrent files in the preferences. But I included the desktop file in the package now.

Where does it create a desktop launcher? I can't seem to find one nor can I find the option to make one

You can start webtorrent from command line, and it wil create a desktop launcher.
