@ejiek, this PKGBUILD doesn't use the internal msg2 function as of commit 92b8ad3908fef8552678217431b942494f2b8bf6 (of sudodforge/pkgbuilds) or commit e8193f47e72d91410a7a30ac974c1f6c5b5e92ef of this subtree.
Regardless, using the post install and upgrade functions to present messaging is a great idea. I've pushed a new patch which presents messaging to the user after installation and upgrade.

I guess it's better to use .install file to show how to use package on install or update than msg2.
Usage of msg2 rises a warning from namcap for usage of internal makepkg subroutine.
