@mhellwig well it says that the path isnt a clone of the repo, try removing said path and repeating the process.

building this doesn't work for me at all ..
steps:
% git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/wego-git.git
% cd wego-git
% makepkg -s
==> Making package: wego-git r81.cd7c11a-1 (Thu Feb 25 11:59:59 CET 2016)
==> Checking runtime dependencies...
==> Checking buildtime dependencies...
==> Retrieving sources...
==> ERROR: /usr/local/aur/wego-git is not a clone of https://github.com/schachmat/wego.git
Aborting...

so, from my limited understanding, there's a failure to cd to $srcdir/$pkgname somewhere?

@Yegorius, should be solid now. Thanks for reporting.

It was on my end. I had 'export GOROOT=/usr/lib/golang' in my ~/.zshrc since I pulled it from a Fedora backup that I had when migrating to Arch. Commenting out the lines related to GOROOT, GOPATH, etc. allowed everything to install as normal. I somehow missed this when first installing wego and the updates between then and now since the problem didn't show up before.

@VerruckteFuchs I can not re-produce this issue at all. How did you install go, and wego exactly? Using pacaur and yaourt, as well as manually... this package installs just fine for me. Have you set any other env settings go go ahead of time?

go looks for '/usr/lib/golang' at the prepare() step, and fails to find it since the directory does not exist. Adding `export GOROOT="/usr/lib/go"` to prepare() allows go to find the proper GOROOT directory and build wego.

@VerruckteFuchs done mate.

The PKGBUILD needs to include the go-runewidth package in the prepare step to be able to build wego-git.

go get github.com/mattn/go-runewidth
