This has been outdated for more than a year now, anyone know if the maintainer is still around?

eomarjee commented on 2014-10-21 11:20

Please update PKGBUILD with the following:

_dlver=$(echo $pkgver | sed 's/\./-/g')
_dlver_major=$(echo $_dlver | cut -d '-' -f -2)

@botika I would update, but the download is not working. If it's not temporary, please contact upstream to fix that.

botika commented on 2013-10-16 00:05

It's wonderfull, but actualize 3.7.10 please.

Skatox commented on 2013-07-23 01:32

I'm using 3.6.9

mmm commented on 2013-05-08 20:45

well..adopted and updated.
Some changes:
* removed gnome-gui patch, please test running from gnome, should be ok now.
* increased java heap size to 1GB from usless (256mb)
* are u guys aware we're running a devel (3.7) version here? 3.6 is the stable with bugfixes only. Is it ok? (ok for me) Opinions?

Hey ya'll, if anyone needs it I'm posting an updated PKGBUILD file for installing version 3.7.9. It's a really simple change, but for those unaware here is what you need:

Anonymous comment on 2011-12-06 15:00

How not aware of makepkg are you that you can't simply change two 3.7.4 references to 3.7.5 to get the new version? It is now updated, but seriously...

Anonymous comment on 2011-11-24 12:18

Any chance of updating it to >3.7.5? I have to resort to windows now to get the Time Series package to work :-(

Anonymous comment on 2011-01-28 18:45

No, I don't agree. I've been maintaining this package like this since 2006 if you hadn't looked at the date. The difference between stable and development upstream is pointless, there is no reason not to be using this branch.

Anonymous comment on 2011-01-26 21:36

Hi toofishes. It's an under development version. You should rename the package to weka-devel.
Do you agree ?

Anonymous comment on 2011-01-26 12:46

Version 3.7.3

Anonymous comment on 2010-12-02 16:24

Why did you mark this out of date? That is not an acceptable way of flagging an issue in a package, leaving a comment is.

ptchinster commented on 2010-12-01 01:48

Having $ARGS in /usr/bin/weka where it is now doesnt do anything. Its not allocated more memory when you change its values, i needed to put it between the java command and the path to the jar, like so:

java $DEFAULT_ARGS -jar /usr/share/java/weka/weka.jar

ptchinster commented on 2010-09-29 20:23

Shoot, my DetectSarcasmTags plugin wasn't turned on.

Anonymous comment on 2010-09-29 20:12

I'm fairly certain I do, maybe you should read up a bit more about me first before making that statement though. :)

Anonymous comment on 2010-09-29 20:11

You have no idea who toofishes is, do you...

ptchinster commented on 2010-09-29 19:56

You have no idea what the AUR is, do you...

thanks so much for this package.
works great!

Anonymous comment on 2010-08-12 01:19

Is this Gentoo? Why would I want to build this from source?

td123 commented on 2010-08-11 23:59

Could you also build this package from source please?
