Forget to add: Although I moved the commented part into prepare(). The patch it mentions isn't included. So should it be removed completly, or not?

Here is a PKGBuild where I made changes that were necessary (at least I think) https://gist.github.com/Narrat/4c217b1b5aea79a00d85 \ in source isn't needed anymore. The same for the |return 1 statements Any sort of patching should be done in prepare(). Some of deps are only needed buildtime and some weren't needed. Gettext for example is in the group base/base-devel. And since base-devel is required for AUR it's not necessary to list it in depends. And I removed ruby, as I couldn't find any reference to it (lua, yes, python yes, but no ruby) Still I suggest to use the PKGBuild from [community] stable wesnoth to look into necessary changes or chances (for example the .service file for the server, configs). Still not sure about this "fifodir=/var/run/wesnothd-devel" Namcap complains about it.
