Try to build it again. Version 1.13.5.207 compiled successfully.
If it doesn’t help update your system with pacman -Suy

Also please note that wesnoth-git is a snapshot not a release of any kind. So it is more likely that some things will be broken. Actually you should expect that. For example not so long ago scons build system was broken. That’s the reason behind switching to cmake. Unfortunately this also doesn’t ensures reliable way to build the package.

Can you please update the pkgbuild to use sdl2 deps?

Thanks for detailed bug report.
Problem was caused by folder name changes in git from wesnoth to wesnoth-old. Now it is fixed.

My build fails. Here is the output - http://pastie.org/8283923
My tarball extracted as ~/..../wesnoth-git. Then I did :

cd wesnoth-git
sudo makepkg -csi --asroot

Then it gave the output I have linked to. Please help.

Usage of replaces is discouraged in a wiki:

Shouldn't this PKGBUILD have something like replaces=('wesnoth-svn' 'wesnoth-cvs') in it?
