Cannot get weston to run

nvidia-modeset: Loading NVIDIA Kernel Mode Setting Driver for UNIX platforms 364.19 Tue Apr 19 14:15:03
By this im guessing the modeset module was loaded correctly.
weston-launch fails with failed to create compositor backed.
any ideas?

With some help I was able to figure out what was going wrong. Mainly, nouveau module was loaded. Blacklisted it and got wayland/weston working!

Anyway, for users interested in running a Wayland compositor on top of NVIDIA's Linux driver:

* Install 364.12 on a recent distro with DRM Atomic KMS.
* Enable NVIDIA's DRM KMS with the "modeset" nvidia-drm.ko kernel module parameter.
* Build and run Weston with the patches we post to the wayland-devel mailing list.

I installed the packages from AUR: nvidia-beta, nvidia-libgl-beta, and nvidia-utils-beta. I also installed this and tried weston-launch, but it failed:

I did try removing the vga option from the bootloader. My account is also in the video group. Any ideas?
