Added, thanks

Thanks!

Another suggestion: since the latest version of wgnord sets DNS by default, the package should depend on openresolv. openresolv is an optional dependency of wireguard-tools, but since wgnord uses that functionality by default, it should depend on it directly.

Thanks for the tip, done.

Thanks for this package!

You might consider marking the config file as one that should be backed up, to ensure that user-changes are preserved via the pacnew/pacsave mechanism rather than simply being overwritten upon upgrade. I have not used the mechanism but something like

backup=(var/lib/wgnord/template.conf)

I think ought to do the trick.

Thank you, it works.

I had added this line: %wheel ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /bin/wgnord

phirecc commented on 2021-09-08 01:25 (UTC)

Try adding this to the bottom of your sudoers: yourusername ALL = NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/wgnord

Also, I don't see why the script would bug and there is no need to delete /etc/wireguard/ either way.

Th30 commented on 2021-09-07 23:15 (UTC)

I already tried with sudoers but the script bugs. I have the Wireguard interface that is created but I have no address. To correct this problem, I have to delete the package with these folders (/var/lib/wgnord and /etc/wireguard) and reinstall wgnord.

Setting up a Wireguard interface requires root. If you don't want to enter a password you can configure sudo for that.

There is really no need for a deamon. My annoyance with that was one of the major reasons for writing this script.

Hello,

I wanted to talk about the fact that to connect to a server, you have to use the root password. To connect without this password would be a great advantage.

I believe the special character causing the issue would've been ", I'll fix that. What do you mean by "login as a single user"?
