Old url is now 404. New ggml model files can be found under https://huggingface.co/ggerganov/whisper.cpp/tree/main with 2 variants.

Thanks to a handy PR by Marzal https://github.com/Marzal/archlinux-whisper.cpp-model/tree/Marzal-patch-1 the huggingface url should now be fixed.

It seems that huggingface has changed the download link format. Now the _url in PKGBUILD should be 

_url = "https://huggingface.co/ggerganov/whisper.cpp"

after install, in the shell, it becomes

#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/whisper.cpp --model /usr/share/whisper.cpp-model-large/large.bin $@

not "$@"

so if the filename has space, it will fall.

one possible solution: add the script in the aur repo.
