- does not build, please change license="GPL3" to license=('GPL3')
- cmake is only a makedepend

Bluez dependency should be updated to bluez4 (https://www.archlinux.org/todo/update-bluez-dependencies/)

Tnx.

It looks like the source checksum problem mentioned by hobert below is because the source file that is downloaded is generated by github from the git repository on download, and is slightly different every time (timestamps/etc). And actually it produces a zip file though you have it set to rename it to
wiiuse-0.24.0.tar.gz

I guess makepkg is smart enough to know that and extract it anyway.

With this in mind, it might just be worth making this PKGBUILD just pull the source from git with the appropriate tag to get around the checksum problem.

Alternately everyone can just run makepkg with the "--skipinteg" switch.

Hi,

there is a slight syntax error in the PKGBUILD: cmake and bluez in the depends-array need to be seperated. like this:

depends=('bluez' 'cmake')

Apart from that, everything seems to work, thanks.

Yep, thankyou;
Try this new revision and let me know.

hi,

there seems to be a problem with the checksum of the source package. could you please check this?

valdar commented on 2013-02-11 20:54

Updated to version 0.14.0 from a semi official and compatible repository that seems activ in developmente.

Let me know if all is ok.

@djpohly:

Thank you for the info:
I'll work on the new package as soon as possible.

The original wiiuse doesn't seem to be maintained anymore - here is a PKGBUILD for a fork that does appear to be maintained and semi-official:

@valdar: I sent a mail on Sat, May 7th about the necessary patch which was first mentioned in these comments at least one year ago, but haven't received a reply. If nothing happens until tomorrow (which is the end of the 2 week period) I will take over maintenance.

I have written a patch for the PKGBUILD und the io_nix.c file in the
wiiuse source, so that the xwii problem is corrected.
Find the patches here below:

PKGBUILD: http://aur.pastebin.com/jzRTfUtg
io_nix.c: http://aur.pastebin.com/rhiCDcL7

have fun

same problem:

[valdar@nathan wiiuse_v0.12]$ patch -p1 < ../xwii_compatibility.patch

The source URL is broken for me. The following worked:
source=(http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/wiiuse/wiiuse_v${pkgver}_src.tar.gz)

you can use this one instead: http://aur.pastebin.com/snL8Emer

Please include http://aur.pastebin.com/LPQWmnFW into your PKGBUILD or xwii won't work (and others, possibly).
