I flagged the package as out of date since it relies on python2.6. I managed to compile the package by simply replacing python2.6 with python2.7 in the Makefile. And by updating the /usr/share/wikipediadumpreader/dumpReader.py first line using : #!/usr/bin/env python2.
How to do it properly inside the PKGBUILD is beyond my knowledge unfortunately.
