As of this writing, multilib/wine still depends on lib32 packages. However, build with wow64 mode is in testing. Users are advised to switch when it is out of testing.

Because of oech3 repeatedly opening deletion requests, this package will not be converted to metapackage, or any actions other than notification in comments, to assist users with migration.

@oech3 Do not open anymore deletion requests against wow64 packages. AGAIN, maintainers will take care of it. For any packages that I maintain or comaintain, do not open any request whatsoever. FLAG the packages, and I will evaluate them.

Dear @oech3, instead of aggressively criticizing someone else's work, please be aware that we are all unpaid volunteers doing that job, and I feel like you are expecting too much from me (that is the third time you request more or less minor changes to my packages). As I know what you are capable of, if you want to do things well, please provide solutions instead of complaining about problems Greetings, tiziodcaio

@oech3 Please close your deletion request and stop opening new ones against this package. multilib/wine has not yet switched to new wow64 mode. It still depends on lib32 packages.

The maintainers will take care of this package deletion when appropriate.

"users are on their own"

This is not difficult since unavaiable package is notified by useful tools.
