Thanks, but I used the PKGBUILD provided by Blubaur. How can I install the package after I did a "makepkg -S". Normally, this is done by pacman -S xyz.tar.xz, but both archives yield the shown error.

Easy... http://www.digital2b.com/mirror_${pkgname}/${pkgname}${_pkgver}.tar.gz do not have anything... You will have to find a new source, and change to it Or try using the PKGBUILD shared by Blubaur

Unfortunately, I get for both generated tar.gz files the same error when I use the new PKGBUILD for X86_64: error: missing package metadata in wink-1.5-3.src.tar.gz error: 'wink-1.5-3.src.tar.gz': invalid or corrupted package error: missing package metadata in wink15.tar.gz error: 'wink15.tar.gz': invalid or corrupted package What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I updated the PKGBUILD locally to support x86_64, please review and eventually use. http://blub.sdf-eu.org/wink/PKGBUILD

http://www.digital2b.com/mirror_wink/wink15.tar.gz do not exist anymore In fact, none of the links on http://www.debugmode.com/wink/download.htm works! :( maybe this work http://hkbn.linux.tucows.com/files/wink15.tar.gz

Finally got it worked. thanks for the PKGBUILD. instead of mkdir it is better to use install option.

This requires libstdc++5 as dependency and a dirty work to link libexpat.so.1.5.2 linked to libexpat.so.0.

there is a problem with the PKGBUILD.pl check. It will create and install only the gif and .desktop file.
