Thank you for the report gilbs, I added 'curl' to mkdeps in the new release. While the transfer of this package hapens (if happens), you can use the stable version 'wofi-emoji' which I maintain already. Cheers.

dln's repo has been archived and now redirects to another repo: https://github.com/Zeioth/wofi-emoji . Maybe the URL of this package should be updated @brodi1?

(edit: Also, just noticed that makedepends should include curl, even though it should already be installed almost every computer on the planet 😄)

Please edit the description, it's not using wl-clipboard, but wtype. :)

Thank you for the quick update :) . Really no need to credit me in the PKGBUILD though 😅 .

@gilbs thank you very much!

wl-clipboard dependency should now be replaced by wtype (see https://github.com/dln/wofi-emoji/commit/527d0e386fc5d078a8eecff46b236228fe95cd9b). The emoji is no longer copied to clipboard but typed through wtype.

This package and wofi-emoji are missing the dependency 'jq' and without it wofi-emoji won't compile correctly. Please add it.
