$ git rev-parse --short HEAD

I think the correct dependencies would be:

depends=('wofi' 'networkmanager' 'bash' 'iw' 'sed' 'gawk')

and a better way to get a version could be 

printf "r%s.%s" "$(git rev-list --count HEAD)" "$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)"
