Probably you ran out of space on /tmp

JohnML commented on 2018-02-16 15:17

won't compile on

SanskritFritz commented on 2016-10-14 08:58

The checksums are OK, check your downloaded files, probably a partial download.

Pineman13 commented on 2016-10-11 08:50

To the packager: please, consider updating the md5sums.

SanskritFritz commented on 2014-09-14 19:36

If you're using an AUR helper like Yaourt, it creates the package in /tmp. This is wrong.

Ravenman commented on 2014-09-14 17:36

I can't install this package:

But checking my filesystem, I find this:

What goes wrong?

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:57

Happy shooting then :)

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 13:56

cower, interesting. I'll have to look into that. Thanks! Again I'm sorry for all this misunderstanding. I definitely was confused on 'package source' for a min there. Now it's all making sense :)

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:46

Ah and makepkg will grab the game sources for you. By source I meant the package source. Two different things.

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:45

Use cower which does the ugly handwork for you.

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 13:43

I apologize for the confusion. Downloading the sources manually worked, although it was nice when makepkg grabbed them for me. I'll do it manually from now on for best results.

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:39

Downloading only the PKGBUILD is wrong, you should always download the whole source and uncompress it. Then you can makepkg.

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:37

So it is as well with this package :)

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 13:35

Reading now. Thanks. Sorry, I wasn't trying to sound freaked out, its just that I successfully built a couple packages already, suddenly this one is giving me that error. I naturally assumed it was a problem on your end. Because the only thing I needed with the other packages with the PKGBUILD file. Everything else was downloaded automatically during makepkg.

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:28

I give up, sorry. Calm down, I was trying to help. You should read this thoroughly:

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 13:23

So I have to download the sources manually with this PKGBUILD? I didn't have to with the other packages. And why is the desktop file listed separately in the sources if its part of the source tarball? And am I supposed to have a source repo for AUR that includes these files? How come I can build komodo-edit without downloading any sources, but padman fails?

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:19

The desktop file is part of the AUR source tarball I just rechecked it. Maybe you should download it again.

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 13:16

What do they have to do with the desktop file clearly inaccessible on this page? You need to add the file correctly or nobody can even download it manually.

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 13:13

Well, I don't know about manjaro, best ask on their forum.

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 12:56

Yep. Me too. 64bit. Its not grabbing the desktop file like its supposed to. At least in Manjaro 0.8.7. Or is this on incomplete and I have to download sourcesanually?

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 12:56

That should say manually...

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 12:54

Looking at the sources list on this page, the desktop file is blacked out and unclickable. I don't think its available. You must be running against files you already have

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 12:48

SanskritFritz commented on 2013-08-24 08:08

Sorry, I don't get this error, just tried it. I'm on 64 bit, maybe that counts?

lee8oi commented on 2013-08-24 04:58

I get this error when I run makepkg on this PKGBUILD

==> ERROR: worldofpadman.desktop was not found in the build directory and is not a URL.

SanskritFritz commented on 2012-03-19 19:32

dedopalomera, thanks for pointing that out. Fixed.

SanskritFritz commented on 2012-03-19 16:03

dedopalomera, thanks for pointing that out. Will fix it soon.

ushimitsudoki commented on 2011-03-25 03:59

If someone had an icon to follow that up with, it might have better luck getting resolved.

Svenstaro commented on 2011-03-25 03:47

No, just file an upstream bug report and they will handle it.

ushimitsudoki commented on 2011-03-25 03:43

I don't have ownership or provenance of that icon, someone else would need to work with upstream on that.

Freedesktop specification calls for PNG, XPM, or SVG format. If they could get something like that in XTRAS, it would be great.

Svenstaro commented on 2011-03-25 03:34

Try to get the icon to be included upstream, please.

ushimitsudoki commented on 2011-03-24 23:19

- Took over package
- This is basically hamelg's PKGBUILD
- No .desktop file, because the targeted wop.png is not a part of the source distribution
- Tested on x86_64

Svenstaro commented on 2011-03-21 04:14

Somebody take over maintenance for this package, please.

sirmacik commented on 2011-02-27 22:22

@hamelg thank You for Your awesome work! It'll be uploaded soon.

hamelg commented on 2011-02-27 20:18

Here is the PKGBUILD for the 1.5.1 :

please sirmacik, could you upgrade it ?

Anonymous comment on 2011-02-07 02:01

There's been an update to 1.5.1, too:

frb commented on 2011-01-08 21:51

I found the source code here:

sirmacik commented on 2011-01-03 23:59

So far there is available only binary version and there is also written in readme that "The source code will be released under the GPL!". So I'll wait about a week for them. If they won't appear I'll make package from the binaries.

baedert commented on 2010-12-28 15:55

There's 1.5 out now:
