Me just dropping the manually downloaded zip file in the ~/.cache/yay/worldofpadman directory wasn't working becase in the PKGBUILD it's set to change the name of the download:

source=('wop-162-full-unified-zip::https://path.to/file)

If I had renamed the manually downloaded zip file to "wop-162-full-unified-zip" and put it in ~/.cache/yay/worldofpadman, then that would get people over the hump, I think.

This MIGHT expire as well, but I put this in a local PKGBUILD and it worked for me to get over the hump

With an obvious epoch stamp in there (1640183349) I suspect this link won't work for long either.

I got this link by doing a wget --debug on one of the links given by the mirror page to look for the redirect to the file itself. Yes curl with a few vvv would probably work too.

I can't find a static link to the file. Their actual website doesn't load anymore (https://worldofpadman.net).

I've manually downloaded the file: wop-1.6.2-full-unified.zip and stuck it in my ~/.cache/yay/worldofpadman and in ~/.cache/yay/worldofpadman/src but that's not good enough for yay to see it.
