Thanks, I will resolve this once I get back home.
@KF5U 3.0.0 tgz hashsum seems to have changed.
SHA1: 0f0284286a0b6d1afcb61f57420abb07f4290d5e
MD5: 4c5922dcf9fa53a8d33083c9021e5a91
My apologies. I have been having some issues with my build system. I will get this resolved as soon as I am back home.
This fails to build for me without qt5-websockets. Please add to dependency list.
Checksum mismatch is resolved.
Looks like the checksums are wrong. Once I get back home I will validate and fix this. My apologies.
Finally current wsjtx-improved builds and runs fine, although no idea about what has changed in a dedicated system which only gets updates :-?.
Anyway this version keeps getting this, either using yay or aura .
==> Validating source files with md5sums...
wsjtx-2.8.0_improved_AL_PLUS_250501.tgz ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
@KF5U under endeavourOS I did every kind of compilation, reinstalled a few times, even downgraded boost with no results. Also it worked fine prior a system updated which involved boost. Compiles ok, crashes at runtime. Compiling regular wsjtx 2.6.x runs fine too. coredump seems to point to a 0x00 memory direction but not much clues to follow at first sight. May dig into it a bit more later in the day if I have time.
I've posted a heads-up in the wsjtx-improved mailing list.
oh, almost forgot: wsjtx-i-al Ubuntu binaries works fine on other ubuntu machines.
Thanks for looking at it.
Edit: 2025-03-03
No idea of what causes it and cannot figure how to solve this as it builds fine.
@muihlinn, have you reinstalled the package? I would recommend doing a clean build of the package.

Note on qt5-websockets
Arch has removed qt5-websockets from the official repositories; it now exists only as an AUR package. yay/paru users are unaffected — the dependency resolves automatically. If you build with plain makepkg -s, install qt5-websockets from the AUR first.
If you don't specifically need Qt5, wsjtx-improved-qt6 (and its -al-qt6 / -widescreen-qt6 variants) build against Qt6, where every dependency is still in [extra].
