Ah OK, thought that might be the case ranger, but at least lib32-wxgtk in my system was required by only one not to often used program. Thanks for the clarification.

@Retro_Gamer
No,lib32-wxgtk requires exactly wxgtk=3.0.2, so it won't work with this version.

Having similar issues as ranger with lib32-wxgtk breaking because it requires wxgtk 3.0.2, but "provides=('wxgtk=${pkgver}')" should alleviate that?

@ranger Pardon the nonsense post and thank you for clarifying. This makes more sense.

Captain_Rage, this has nothing to do with wxgtk-trenchbroom.
freefilesync uses this package because it needs wxgtk at least version 3.1 and wxgtk in extra is still in version 3.0.2

@ranger, I've pushed the commit.
@Captain_Rage I have no idea why FreeFileSync depends on this. It only has some OpenGL fixes for Trenchbroom. I also have no idea why other apps throw errors.

I'd like to chime in on this. Now Filezilla and Audacity doesn't start, throwing
'error while loading shared libraries: libwx_gtk2u_aui-3.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'. This happened after I replaced wxgtk with wxgtk-trenchbroom, since it is now a dependency for FreeFileSync.

Can you change the provides array to provides=('wxgtk=${pkgver}') ?

It breaks packages that depend on a specific version of wxgtk, like veracrypt
