They are installed under
/usr/share/doc/xandikos/examples/xandikos.service
/usr/share/doc/xandikos/examples/xandikos.socket

could you also provide systemd service and socket files? examples are in https://github.com/jelmer/xandikos/blob/master/examples/

It fails during check() with following error:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'vobject'

Current pkgver() resolves to upstream/0.0.7.r106.g92651fa which is invalid. I changed pkgver() to contain git describe --long --tags | cut -d/ -f2 | tr - . which instead resolves to 0.0.9.1.24.g92651fa which is accepted.

I tried to install xandikos-git package and received following error:

==> Starting build()... python: can't open file 'setup.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

The issue is caused by invalid current path. We need to change to the cloned directory at the start of several PKGBUILD methods. This code was removed in the last commit (10269b744562). I suspect, there was an issue with relative paths. I would suggest to add code that changes to the cloned directory based on absolute path. Possible fix: https://pastebin.com/pkWFiYFR
