@ak04nv, that would have been one of two things: A bad network connection on your end or gnome-look.org's servers having disruptions.

I would imagine it was the latter.

ainola, I haven't a server to use GitLab. And I don't want to use VCS because I wouldn't develop this theme later. You can download my source and store it where you want, and feel free to make changes! ^_^ If you want to specify my authorship, use "Anthony Samartsev ant.samarcev@gmail.com", but for me it's not necessary

Kycok, I will gladly do that on the PKGBUILD side. My suggestions were for 'upstream'. It would just be easiest for the upstream developer to host the source files (and even releases if kind enough!) on a platform such as gitlab: Not only would this allow version control and other niceties such a platform provides, but it would also allow distributing releases on a platform that isn't as technically challenged as opendesktop.

Just a suggestion.

ainola, since I'm not a maintainer of this package, you can do what you want. Feel free to revise version numbers, source's repository, and anything else.

Kycok, would you also be willing to host the files for this excellent theme on a secondary platform, such as gitlab? The dropbox link, while functional, would prevent this theme from getting included in [community] because it will be seen as shady (despite you being the author and all). As I'm sure you've experienced, opendesktop is just the worst and never provides a usable direct link.

The pkgver doesn't seem to correspond with the actual versioning of your gnome-look package. Why would that be? Should it not be 1.2 instead of 3.2?

So, I decided to move source file to my own server. It has lesser connection speed and can be offline (rarely, 4-5 times in the past year) but file's URL will change NEVER ^_^. (unless I'll change my house)

Feel free to write a comment if a file will be unavailable for at least 1 day
