Hi bidulock, thanks for your suggestions. I think they're all valid and I updated the PKGBUILD accordingly. Kind regards

Please move xorg-xmessage to opt_depends() (for reboot/poweroff buttons) remove python2 from depends() remove xorg-utils from depends() add xorg-xsetroot to depends() add xorg-xwininfo to depends()

Updated package - Using arch=("any") - Using package() instead of build() Thanks to bidulock for the hints!

bidulock commented on 2013-04-11 17:10 (UTC)

PKGBUILD must be split into build() and package() to build under makepkg 4.1

bidulock commented on 2013-04-11 17:10 (UTC)

arch=('any') builds one package with 'any' in the architecture spot. arch=('i686' 'x86_64') builds two packages unnecessarily: one for i686 another for x86_64

Hi bidulock, what's the difference between naming the two supported arches separately and "any"? Is there an advantage when using the latter? Kind regards
