I just updated this to work with 2.9.0. The PKGBUILD and patch to install can be found here: https://gist.github.com/tristan/58c041eb4588b5c54ccd

As xf86-input-evdev-remap-git was no longer available, I recreated that package, which provides xf86-input-evdev 2.7.0.

This doesn't work with the latest Xorg.

This package needs to be recompiled against the new xorg-server or else your keyboard and mouse won't work.

This doesn't work with Xorg 1.8. I am looking for another workaround or a tweak for this.
