awatch, this is an orphan, so just update it instead of using a pastebin.

I quickly googled the deb package and found this link incl. the source tarball:

This is fine, because it seems I don’t have the sourcecode anymore. As announced, I will now disown the package, making it free to take for anyone has the actual hardware to test.

Could you please post a link to where you found the code so the new maintainer knows where to get it?

Vale.

Sorry for not responding earlier, too - vacations ;-)

I was able to find the source code from debian packages, although it did not get me much further. (I was trying to update Arch on Asus Transformer TF700t.) There were more problems with the X.org update than just mtev...

Thanks for your effort, anyway.

As expected, I of course didn’t get home even once since I posted my last comment and hence couldn’t even have a look at my old tablet</irony>. Tomorrow evening I will have a look. Sorry for the delay.

Vale.

Sorry for the late reply (I’m on holidays right now)... I don’t know where it did go either as I never was involved in Meego anyway. As Meego merged with Tizen, I suppose they also moved the sources over to tizen.org.

I made this package once as I had an Arch Linux ARM running on my ARCHOS G101 tablet, but the tablet now has broken glass and I doubt repairing it is worth the money... It was the result of much research until I finally found a X.org driver that actually ran on that tablet AND accepted touch input. Sadly, I couldn’t make it to accept multitouch, and as the tablet’s hardware is too closed down to actually know what else could be used I finally gave up. It may be that I have the sources still on the tablet; I will look and upload them if I can find them, but as I don’t have the hardware anymore to test I’m going to disown the package after that.

Vale.

Anybody knows what's happened to site api.pub.meego.com and if there is an alternative repository? (That name cannot be resolved anymore.)

Hey, this is for arm, but compile for i386 and x86_64
and the aur mailisting say: no arm or other non supported by arch-linux, they need they own aur version, AUR mailisting
