Wizardpen crashes Xorg when I run it now with XP-Pen Artist 10S the moment I touch the stylus to the tablet. Here is the coredump. Not sure if it'll be of any use.

Fixed it! Sorry

The replaces and conflict sections should have quotes between the items. Right now it gives an error: ==> ERROR: conflicts contains invalid characters: ' '

I’ve just disowned this package because I won’t be using Arch Linux as my primary OS any more, nor am I likely to ever again use the tablet that needed this driver.

@ChrisMorgan: the patch is probably too hacky to be implemented into the AUR package; I'm pretty sure it works by completely disabling a feature that's broken for some tablets. I was just putting it here for reference in case anyone else has trouble getting their pressure to work.

@tjb0607: the comments and votes disappeared because it was still an orphaned package when the AUR4 upgrade happened. This is a new package in that regard, though I took it from an archive of the old AUR3 package. As for kyuucr’s patch, I don’t feel comfortable making such changes in this package; such a patch should be made upstream, and as far as I can tell no one has proposed the change on the project in Launchpad. It’d probably be good to suggest it there and then prod Martin Owens to process the backlog and make a new release of some form. Only when these steps have been taken would it seem reasonable to me to start making more invasive patches.

Not sure where the comments & votes went, but in the last package, kyuucr posted a comment containing a patch to fix pressure with their 5543:0005 UC-Logic WP8060U. This patch worked flawlessly for me with my 5543:0064 UC-Logic Technology Corp. Aiptek HyperPen 10000U. https://gist.github.com/kyuucr/578ae9054f839ec1284b
