There are some additional patches necessary for the actual xorg-server (1.19.5-1) as some symbols have been removed (like miPointerAbsoluteCursor), see also: https://www.x.org/wiki/PciReworkHowto/
I have a working i686 version of the driver (at least comparable to the one compiled for xorg-server version 1.18)

It can not work:
Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/sisimedia_drv.so: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/sisimedia_drv.so: undefined symbol: miPointerAbsoluteCursor

For me it works with Linux 4.8.8-2 kernel too.

Doesn't work with Linux kernel, it works with Linux-lts though.
