There's an experimental 3.20 patch that seems to fix the issues in 3.20 for me. Here's an updated PKGBUILD:

Gtk-3.0 folder can be removed from the theme to cause all GTK3 apps to use the default theme (Adwaita). Obviously, the look of GTK3 apps will be inconsistent with the rest of the system, but they will be usable. Since Adwaita uses grey-blue palette, I find it quite tolerable.
Since it will take some time to properly fix the Greybird theme, and currently GTK3 apps are broken with this theme to the point of being unusable (at least for me), perhaps this would be an acceptable "hack" for this package as well?

While waiting for resolve problem with gtk 3.20, we can use gtk-theme-arc....
