Saving a custom theme does not work for me.

The .db and .png are saved in the correct location, the .png is ok but the .db does not contains the right format: PanelBlue=54741 Whereas this should start with [Data] and contains a Name, Thumbnail, *Theme entries

Successfully built on armv7h. Please add this to your supported architectures.

If someone having problems with checksum mismatch you can skip it with adding option --skipinteg to your makepkg command.

Checksum mismatch:
Xfce-Theme-Manager-0.3.7.tar.gz ... FAILED

I miss this so much on my ARMv7/ARMv8 systems. (Raspberry pi's / Odroids) Any chance we'll see a build for those platforms anytime soon? :-) I will assist in any way if I can.

Having an issue saving new themes. When I click to save a custom theme it doesn't show up in the list. Anyone else seeing this issue?

The URL is broken because it appears as if the author is hosting everything on dropbox now. Update PKGBUILD to the following until this is fixed:

supermario commented on 2015-11-12 04:00

Website still shows latest version as 0.3.6

d_rail commented on 2014-10-30 04:08

Xfce-Theme-Manager-0.3.6.tar.gz won't download for me. It's either not up, my connection or aurget.

supermario commented on 2014-08-05 21:51

It would seem that the site is back up, so I'm going to leave the sources as-is for now.

d_rail commented on 2014-08-03 23:04

I guess that is the developer's site, so that isn't good. But I was able to find it at xfce look (at the bottom of the page, there are links to hosted files). The PKGBUILD worked great though.

d_rail commented on 2014-08-03 22:43

It seems that the source host is down again.

supermario commented on 2014-03-07 04:47

Adopted and updated.

mfs commented on 2014-03-04 13:55

I've re-uploaded the source to my webspace as a work-around. The future maintainer might also consider mirroring the source somewhere more stable.

theOptimizedCode commented on 2014-03-01 22:18

The URL needs to be changed (the freehosting site of author is down), can the PKGBUILD be edited?
Also, 0.3.5 is already out, so this is a bit outdated.

Anyone else getting this?

The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found

mfs commented on 2014-02-20 10:59

I'm not using ArchLinux anymore. So I disowned the package. Feel free to take it.

mfs commented on 2013-07-18 07:50

The developer has fixed the bug in version 0.3.3, which is on the AUR now. So no need for options=(!makeflags) anymore. Thanks for reporting the issue, howardad!

mfs commented on 2013-07-14 10:05

Adding MAKEFLAGS="-j2" to my makepkg.conf reproduced the problem for me. I've added the options=(!makeflags) to the PKGBUILD as a work-around and am going to contact the developer about that.

howardad commented on 2013-07-13 15:46

Aha! Apparently it doesn't like building in multiple threads. I have MAKEFLAGS="-j2" in makepkg.conf and adding options=(!makeflags) to the PKGBUILD lets it build just fine.

howardad commented on 2013-07-13 15:20

Same "cannot stat xfcethememanager" error. I wonder what I have installed that is screwing this up.

mfs commented on 2013-07-13 13:19

howardad, unfortunately I am unable to reproduce this error. It seems the makefile script in your case wants to copy the executable before it is compiled. You could try this PKGBUILD: and see if it fixes the problem. The only difference to the original one is that it executes make (which should compile the binaries) and make install in two separate steps. Please let me know how it worked out.

howardad commented on 2013-07-13 06:24

My attempt to build this package failed during the package() phase. The full output from that phase is here: .

mfs commented on 2013-07-05 06:57

ares81, can you supply more information on when this error occured? I can only help you in case there is a problem with the AUR package. If the segfault happens while using the program, you should better get in touch with the developer, which you can do here:

ares81 commented on 2013-07-04 12:58

segmentaion fault (core dumped)

mfs commented on 2012-09-06 06:31

As these problems seem to occur from time to time, I've mirrored the source package on my own webspace and changed the source link.

nixpunk commented on 2012-09-06 03:27

Link is dead.

mfs commented on 2012-06-19 12:09

What links do you mean? I've just tried the source link and it seemed to work...

Anonymous comment on 2012-06-18 21:49

Links are dead. Please update links.

mfs commented on 2012-05-19 10:30

I've built an xfce4-composite-editor AUR package ( and added it as an optdepend.
