I'm not using ArchLinux anymore. So I disowned the package. Feel free to take it.

The developer has fixed the bug in version 0.3.3, which is on the AUR now. So no need for options=(!makeflags) anymore. Thanks for reporting the issue, howardad!

Adding MAKEFLAGS="-j2" to my makepkg.conf reproduced the problem for me. I've added the options=(!makeflags) to the PKGBUILD as a work-around and am going to contact the developer about that.

Aha! Apparently it doesn't like building in multiple threads. I have MAKEFLAGS="-j2" in makepkg.conf and adding options=(!makeflags) to the PKGBUILD lets it build just fine.

Same "cannot stat xfcethememanager" error. I wonder what I have installed that is screwing this up.

howardad, unfortunately I am unable to reproduce this error. It seems the makefile script in your case wants to copy the executable before it is compiled. You could try this PKGBUILD: http://aur.mfs.name/xfce-theme-manager/PKGBUILD and see if it fixes the problem. The only difference to the original one is that it executes make (which should compile the binaries) and make install in two separate steps. Please let me know how it worked out.

My attempt to build this package failed during the package() phase. The full output from that phase is here: http://pastie.org/8136853 .

ares81, can you supply more information on when this error occured? I can only help you in case there is a problem with the AUR package. If the segfault happens while using the program, you should better get in touch with the developer, which you can do here: http://keithhedger.hostingsiteforfree.com

As these problems seem to occur from time to time, I've mirrored the source package on my own webspace and changed the source link.
