The package is missing to indicate a build-time dependency on automake.

@Tio Not sure I want to get involved in this, sorry, I've got enough to do upstream (I'm Tamaranch@Xfce). And if I take care of this package, why not another... If it works like that, that's fine too ^^'

Using autoconf now and added to makedepends. Hope that is ok.

autoconf is provided by the Core repo: https://archlinux.org/packages/?q=autoconf . And, it's only used during the package building, not while it's running, so it should be moved to makedepends, too.

Indeed but I see no autoconf package in the AUR. I will revert back the changes today.

error building (in chroot) error: target not found: autoconf-git

shouldn't this be the non-git version? also should be in makedepends, not depends.
