Did you also change the versioning number? If no please do so those that got the bad update will get a fix. Happened to some friends for example.

got help from strogon14 in the #archlinux-aur irc channel and there was some problems in the Arch Linux PKGBUILD for this package but its now fixed and a working latest version has now been uploaded

@Barracuda made a revert for now, and wrote in the upstream issue on XFCE Gitlab

I updated the plugin to the last version. Now, it's not visible anymore in the "Add New Items" dialog. Therefore, i can't add it in my panel...

EDIT : the plugin is now in /usr/local/lib/xfce4/panel/plugins/ whereas all xfce panel plugins are in /usr/lib/xfce4/panel/plugins/

Adding a symbolic link of in /usr/lib/xfce4/panel/plugins/ does not solve the issue
