depends needs to be changed (libjpeg):

Can you please change

• dependendy libjpeg to libjpeg-turbo (any maybe existing make dependency libjpeg needs also to be changed to libjpeg-turbo),
  or maybe more elaboreate,
• dependencies libjpeg to libjpeg.so AND add make dependency libjpeg-turbo?

Reason: Arch Linux does not have libjpeg anymore, and libjpeg-turbo stopped to declare libjpeg in it's provides array.

libjpeg-turbo does no longer provide libjpeg.

Please change dependency libjpeg to libjpeg.so, and add libjpeg-turbo to makedepends array.

Nevermind, the build fails even with the older libjpeg-turbo in exactly the same manner. The -git version builds and works on an up to date system (as long as the dependency to libjpeg is changed to libjpeg-turbo) and should be used instead.

Xfig no longer builds with the latest libjpeg-turbo. I get:

Adding the following flags restore the build (see: https://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-15/porting_to.html ).

Apparently xfig does not build with the latest gcc.

Edit1: Also I noticed that this xfig-3.2.9 has been superseded by xfig-3.2.9a?

Edit2: 3.2.9 is indeed out of date, 3.2.9a is the updated version. Flagging this as out of date...

Edit3: It appears that GCC is also partly to blame, if I set my compiler to clang it will build.
