The version found at (as commented by phil.dubois) is the equal (same sha512) to the one in the PKGBUILD (

The xhtml1 tar.gz no longer exists:

If absolutely required, an older version can be found at:

Confirmed and fixed.

Currently having this issue while trying to install the package :

==> Building and installing package
==> ERROR: install should not be an array
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build xhtml-docs.

To fix the issue, remove the parentheses there : install=('xhtml-docs.install')

Updated the creation of symlinks.
Thanks again.

Thanks for fixing. I found one more issue. The three links that are created at the end of the package function are broken. Please remove the "${pkgdir}" from the first argument of each ln command.

Thanks for reporting back your improvements.

I have added them to the package.

Ok, I figured out how to get it working from looking at the similar docbook-xsl package.

Add to PKGBUILD package() function:
install -dm755 ${pkgdir}/etc/xml

Add to top of xhtml-docs.install post_install() function:
if [ ! -f etc/xml/catalog ]; then
xmlcatalog --noout --create etc/xml/catalog

When installing, many lines like this are printed:
/tmp/alpm_ZmPaYi/.INSTALL: line 5: xmlcatalog: command not found

It appears this package needs libxml2 as a dependency, but even after adding that it then prints a bunch of errors like this:
could not open /etc/xml/catalog for saving
add command failed

I haven't figured out how to fix that because /etx/xml/catalog doesn't appear to be owned by any package.
