Solved: apparently was just a longer hiccup. Not sure about the root issue but after 2 days of not working, it seems to have randomly unstuck itself.

when trying to build xivlauncher-rb 2:1.0.7.1-1 either with an aur-helper or using mkpkg -si it's stuck forever at:

dotnet publish -r linux-x64 --sc -o "/home/user/Downloads/temp/xivlauncher-rb/src/build" --configuration Release -p:BuildHash=17bbee3
MSBuild version 17.8.3+195e7f5a3 for .NET

any pointers how to solve this?

xivlauncher.core has been updated along with FF14's newest patch. I talked to Rankyn on the official dalamud Discord and he says that this needs to be synced up to the current release. this was already done on rpm, but now the one on AUR needs an update.

Please and thank you!

Added newer Proton 8 Wine Version, delete your wine prefix if you are on wine 7.

@marcanicus yeah I kinda forgot I made a comment here. I don't know what caused it to happen I eventually just said screw it and reinstalled the whole OS.... worked just fine afterwards. :/ Sorry for not deleting it!
