@j.taala, thanks, fixed

Hey @sputnick,

md5sums=('ac032fec49c4c4f0f2318d3f4618970c514191b142e06c51a661fe2342a535a5')

That definitely isn't an md5 checksum...

I think you meant to use:

sha256sums=('ac032fec49c4c4f0f2318d3f4618970c514191b142e06c51a661fe2342a535a5')

Instead.

makepkg -sr --skippgpcheck --noconfirm ==> Making package: xkbset 0.5-3 (Sat May 7 11:18:58 PDT 2016) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> Retrieving sources... -> Downloading xkbset-0.5.tar.gz... % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed 100 279 100 279 0 0 952 0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:-- 955 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:-- 0 curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate More details here: https://curl.haxx.se/docs/sslcerts.html curl performs SSL certificate verification by default, using a "bundle" of Certificate Authority (CA) public keys (CA certs). If the default bundle file isn't adequate, you can specify an alternate file using the --cacert option. If this HTTPS server uses a certificate signed by a CA represented in the bundle, the certificate verification probably failed due to a problem with the certificate (it might be expired, or the name might not match the domain name in the URL). If you'd like to turn off curl's verification of the certificate, use the -k (or --insecure) option. ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading http://faculty.missouri.edu/~stephen/software/xkbset/xkbset-0.5.tar.gz Aborting... The intermediate cert is not provided by the server. firefox and probably other browsers have a certificate discovery feature to download it, but the curl and openssl cli tools do not. This is shown here (which also shows other ssl settings which are outdated) https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=faculty.missouri.edu Some reference for that is here: http://stackoverflow.com/a/7644229/14456 There are 2 relatively straightforward workarounds, Export the certificate chain in firefox, then export CURL_CA_BUNDLE=/path/to/chain then run curl, or any program which calls curl or disable certificate checking, with curl -k or for arch, edit the PKGFILE to have DLAGENTS=("https::/usr/bin/curl -k -o %o %u")
