@micwoj92: cron is an optional dependency at the moment (open for debate). Reason: not to force installation of cron. Note: gshow-druid and xmltv-druid were made before systemd timers. And you don't have to run and complete the gshowtv (startup) configuration wizard.

So I tested it with gshowtv (thanks for the fix) and when launching from terminal it gives error on first screen sh: line 1: crontab: command not found I think cronie should be added to depends, it seems like important part of this program functionality.
